Found this link about “12 Things a StepMother Should Never Say” from Oprah.com and although I agree with some of these, I almost felt like it was s new StepMom.

Some of the writing was very condescending and just plain didn’t make sense…example: “Life is messy, and it’s even messier when
you choose a man with children. But remember: It’s better to have a man with kids than one without kids who flosses his cat’s teeth.” Are you kidding me?? Take a read and see if you feel the same! - Megan

Did you know there is a “National Stepfamily Day”?! Neither did I…here’s a little about it and the cute movies you can watch with your Stepkid on that day!!

Megan & I completely agree with #2; while our step-children may not be biologically ours, kids need rules.

Here’s a really good article for #StepMoms. It’s “10 Parenting Tips Every Stepmom Must Know” #6 is one that a few StepMoms I know - me included - have worried about.
